Meni so bile obleke všeč. Bili smo lepi in hkrati smešni.
Takrat so mi bili všeč kostumi. Jaz sem bil oblečen v dolg enodelen kostum.

V cerkvi so bile ti inštrumenti včasih prepovedani zaradi svoje pregrešne oblike.
Učenke in mentorica Glasbene šole Kranj so nam zaigrale štiri skladbe.

Hans Leo Hassler (1564-1612)
Plesati in skakati, peti in zveneti fa la la fa la la,
Lutnje in violine naj tudi ne molče,
Muziciranje in navdušeno vzklikanje sta zame vse.
se z njimi sprehajati in kramljati, veselo šaliti
me v srcu bolj veseli kot srebro in zlato fa la la fa la la.

Laudate Dominum in sanctis eius
(Slavite Gopoda z njegovimi svetniki)
Iacobus Gallus (1550 – 1591)
Slavite gospoda z njegovimi svetniki,
Slavite ga v njegovi mogočni poštenosti
Slavite ga z zvokom trobent,
Hvalite ga s psalmi in citrami, timpani in zbori,
Slavite ga z orglami, cimbali vse duše,
Slavite gospoda, hvalite gospoda vsi duhovi,
Hvaljen gospod!
Now o now I needs must part
(John Dowland)
1597
Now, O, now, I needs must part,
parting though I absent mourn.
Absence can no joy impart,
joy, once fled, cannot return.
Refrain
Sad despair doth drive me hence,
This despair unkindness sends.
If that parting be offence,
It is she which then offends!
While I live I needs must love,
Love live not when hope is gone:
Now, at last, despair doth prove,
Love divided loveth none.
Dear, when from thee I am gone,
Gone are all my joys at once.
I loved thee and thee alone,
in whose love I joyed once.
And, although your sight I leave,
slight wherein my joys do lie,
'Till that Death do sense bereave,
never shall affection die.
Dear, if I do not return,
Love and I shall die together.
For my absence never mourn,
whom you might have joined ever.
Part, we must, though now I die,
Die I do to part with you;
Him despair doth cause to lie,
who both loved and dieth true.
Pesem je posvetnega značaja in predstavlja čustvovanje zaljubljenega para ob ločitvi.
Fair Phyllis I saw
(John Farmer, 1565 – 1605)
Fair Phyllis I saw sitting alone,
feeding her flock near to the mountainside,
fair side.
The shepherds knew not
they knew not whither she was gone,
but after her lover Amyntas hied.
Up and down he wondered,
up and down he wondered,
up and down he wondered,
up and down he wondered,
up and down he wondered,
he wondered whilst she was missing.
When he found her,
o, then they fell akissing,
akissing,
o, then they fell akissing,
akissing.
in jo iskal,
ko jo končno je našel,
ji je dva »lupčka«dal.

Medieval days at BTŠ
We participate in the project Comenius where we revive the medieval culture. On 4th April 2007 Mrs. Mojca Debeljak visited our school and brought some medieval clothes. The pupils in 1.Č had the opportunity to go back in time when women and girls wore only dresses. Fashion for men was also completely different.
How did the pupils feel?
I liked the dresses. I wore one too. It was green and loose, but it did not suit me because it was a bit funny. Some of my schoolmates wore them too. We were nice and funny. I like trying clothes especially medieval. I went around the school and people looked at me. I liked the music performance with Maja Berce who was singing.
Izabel, 1.č
I liked very much but it was hot because I was wearing the costume. I was playing football wearing it and everyone stared at me. The costume was of one piece, beige and with a loose belt. I also liked the music and Maja’s singing.

Performance of Music school Kranj
The students of Music school Kranj were playing on the flute. Their teacher was Mrs. Špela Loti Knoll. Longer flutes had lower tones, shorter ones had higher tones. The girls were playing on the soprano, alto, tenor and bass flutes. In the past those instruments were forbidden in churches because of the sinful shape.
The students and their teacher played four compositions. They have been playing flutes for seven years. Maja Berce who attends our school sang a song. She has been studying solo singing for three years.
