DEJAVNOSTI
Šmarna gora je naravna in kultuna znamenitost v bližnji okolici Ljubljane. Letno jo obišče okoli 250 000 planincev, romarjev in drugih obiskovalcev. Navdahnila je tudi številne slikarje in pesnike. Kljub številnim zgodbam in legendam ima Šmarna gora svojo lastno zgodovino čemur sta pripomogli njena izredna lega in narava.
Z avtobusom smo se pripeljali v Spodnje Pirniče ter se nato povzpeli smo se na najbolj obiskano goro v Sloveniji. Višina izhodišča je bila 340 metrov, višina Šmarne gore pa je 669 metrov. Med potjo smo se ustavili pri kužnem znamenju in spoznali njegov pomen. Pod vrhom so dijaki pozvonili pri zvonu, ki izpolnjuje želje. Na vrhu nas je poleg gostišča pričakala baročna cerkev z obzidjem.

ACTIVITIES
Šmarna Gora mountain is a natural phenomenon and cultural heritage site in the immediate vicinity of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is visited by about a 250 000 hikers, pilgrims and other visitors every year and has inspired many poets and painters. Depicted in numerous fairy tales and legends, Šmarna Gora also has a history all its own, a legacy associated with its extraordinary position and nature.
The bus took us to Spodnje Pirnice. Then we climbed the most frequently climbed mountain in Slovenia. The altitude of starting-point was 340 meters, the altitude of mountain Smarna gora is 667 meters. On our way we stopped at Plague sign and we became aware with its importance. Just before the summit the students rang the bell which fulfills the wishes. On the top there were inn and a baroc church with wall waiting for us.
